dedicated to the study, collecting
and appreciation of early English clocks and sundials.

The collection features a selection of rare and historically important clocks and sundials dating from c.1625 onwards, including several exceptional lantern clocks, many illustrated alongside contemporary paintings to place them in their historical context. It also includes examples of early clocks bearing religious verses and devotional inscriptions on their dials, reflecting the close relationship between timekeeping and faith in seventeenth-century England.
